Karel Oliviero is a renowned professional in the naturist world, with over thirty years of experience in print media, communications and marketing within this sector. Her career has led her to hold key positions in the media, federations and major tourism groups, making her one of France's most experienced figures in the promotion and advancement of naturism.
She began her career at Nat'Info, the official newspaper of the French Naturist Federation, where she worked as an editor for many years. She then continued her editorial work by becoming editor-in-chief of La Vie au Soleil magazine, an iconic publication founded in 1949 by Albert (and Christiane) Lecocq and considered one of the historic titles of the naturist movement in France.
Her expertise then led her to the Vacalians group (now ECG), where she held the position of marketing and communications manager for the group's naturist brands, notably within Socnat and the legendary CHM Montalivet. She actively contributed to structuring the image, positioning and promotion of these major European naturist tourism destinations.
At the same time, she helped to popularise naturism among the general public by presenting the monthly programme NATMAG on the dedicated channel Naturisme TV for several years, where she was a regular face.
Karel Oliviero is also the author of several leading naturist guides, including Le Guide Mondial du Naturisme (The World Guide to Naturism), considered one of the most reliable and comprehensive guides for choosing naturist holidays (latest edition published in 2020).
Creative and committed to sharing her knowledge, she is also the initiator of the Kit d'initiation au naturisme (Naturism Starter Kit), a fun and educational kit that includes a swimsuit with soluble seams, designed to gently accompany beginners as they discover this practice.
Now working independently, she acts as a project manager or consultant for major players in the sector, such as Naturisme.fr, the French Naturist Federation and the International Naturist Federation. In 2024, she will be actively involved in the major retrospective Paradis Naturiste, presented in Marseille from July to December 2024, contributing her expertise to the cultural and historical promotion of the movement.
